In Town: My off-the-farm career is in real estate. I’m a licensed agent with Keller Williams, and I focus on helping people buy and sell land, farms, and rural properties in the Ozarks. Growing up around agriculture, I understand the value of good land and what farmers and landowners are really looking for. My goal is to eventually work full time in land sales, helping folks find the right piece of property to fit their needs – whether it’s for ranching, farming, hunting, or just enjoying the outdoors.

In the Country: I farm alongside my family at Boyce/Dill Cattle, where we manage around 200 pairs. Our herd includes registered Angus and Lim-Flex cattle, along with a group of commercial pairs. Personally, I have about 25 cows I have been building my operation from over the past few years. On the registered side, our goal is to build genetics that thrive on fescue pastures here in the Ozarks. We focus on producing seedstock that are easy fleshing, have strong maternal traits, and stand on a practical, sound structure. We market bulls and females through private treaty and host online sales periodically to showcase our genetics. For our commercial herd, we strive to raise high-quality terminal calves that are weaned, backgrounded, and sold

through the Springfield Livestock Market or privately. Our overall mission is to continue improving the quality of our herd and grow our operation in a way that consistently meets the needs of our buyers.

What I enjoy most about being in the cattle industry is getting to work with the land and livestock every day. There’s a deep satisfaction in raising cattle the right way and seeing the results of your hard work payoff over time. To me, agriculture is one of the most pure and fulfilling ways to earn a living. I also enjoy the challenge – no two days are the same, and there’s always something to learn or improve. Being able to work alongside family every day makes it even more rewarding.
