• 5 C flour
• 1 pound lard
• 2 tsp salt
• 1/4 C sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 Tbsp vinegar
Mix flour and lard. Add sugar and salt. Break egg into measuring cup, then fill with water to make 1 cup. Add vinegar to liquid and mix. Add to flour and lard mixture and mix until rolling consistency. This recipe makes 3 pies, top and bottom.
