• 1 stick unsalted butter

• 1 1/2 C white sugar

• 3 tsp all-purpose flour

• 3 eggs

• 1 C buttermilk

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

• 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the flour, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Pur filling into pie shell. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake in preheated over for 60 minutes or until golden brown.
