• 2 C white sugar

• 1/2 C butter

• 1/2 C milk

• 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

• 1 pinch salt

• 3 C quick cooking oats

• 1/2 C peanut butter

• 1 tsp vanilla extract


In a saucepan, bring sugar, butter, milk, cocoa and salt to a rapid boil for about 1 minute. While stirring, add quick cooking oats, peanut butter and vanilla and mix well. Working quickly, drop a tablespoon amount onto wax paper and let cool.
