• 2 C sugar
• 2 C flour
• 1 C boiling water
• Pinch of salt
• A splash of vanilla
Mix all ingredients as allow to cool
• 5 egg whites
• 1/4 tsp cream of tarter
• 1 tsp baking powder
Beat egg whites until stiff, Add cream of tartar and baking powder. Fold into flour and sugar mixture. Pour into a 9-by-13 baking pan, bake for about 40 minutes. Cool and ice how desired.
