• 2 pounds hamburger

• 1 medium onion, chopped

• 1 can (46 ounces) tomato juice

• 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes

• 2 celery ribs

• 4 Tbsp brown sugar

• 1 package chili seasoning

• 1 tsp salt

• 3 cans kidney beans (rinsed and drained) 

• 1/2 C uncooked macaroni

In a large kettle, brown hamburger and onion; drain fat. Stir in tomato juice, tomatoes, celery, brown sugar, chili seasoning and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans, pasta and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is tender. Note: Can use pinto beans.
