Ingredients:
1/2 C. butter
1 C. boiling water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. flour
4 eggs
1 small package instant vanilla putting, prepared (can use vanilla ice cream)
1 can cherry pie filling, warmed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small saucepan, heat butter with water stirring until butter has melted. Turn heat to low and add flour and salt, stirring until mixture leaves the side of the man in a smooth ball. Remove from heat and quickly add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg until mixture is shiny and smooth. Drop mixture onto a greased cookie sheet, into eight mounds that peak at the center. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until pupped and golden brown. Do not open over to check until the end of the baking period. Remove from sheet and cool on wire racks. Cut tops of puffs off and fill with pudding to ice cream spoon warm pie filling over the top.
