Meatballs:
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds ground beef
1 C bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 C chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
2 dashes garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
Roll into balls and then in flour. Brown in shortening and set aside.
Sauce:
INGREDIENTS:
1 can tomato soup
3 large cans tomato sauce or six 8-ounce cans
1/2 C water for each can of tomato sauce
1 tsp or more McCormick Italian seasoning
1/2 C onion and garlic powder
1 C bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS:
Cook in oven 2 to 3 hours at 325 degrees. Add meatballs just before the sauce is done. Serve with spaghetti. Can also cook on top of stove very slowly. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking.
