The Arcola Christian Church (intersection of 39 and Y Highway) and the Barton, Mo., County Extension office (801 E 12th) and the Lockwood Farmer’s Exchange (107 W. 6th) will be accepting farm supplies for those effected by the March wildfires that destroyed livestock, homes and farming operations in Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma. We are accepting fence and farm supplies, livestock feeds, supplements and milk replacer. We will not be accepting hay. The Arcola Christian Church gym will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, call Larry Wheeler at 417-424-3218. The Barton County Extension office will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays, call Jill at 417-682-3579.
