Kappa Alpha Theta active members (front, left) Lyndsay Parks, Leslie Lodes, Laci Scales, Ashleigh Chiaf, Madison Cotherman,(back, left) Kayley Smith, Kelsey Duepner, Megan Montgomery, Jordan Burns, Stephanie Giardina, Kerrstin Wenk, Emily Martin and Madison Stafford attended the sorority’s national conference in Orlando, Fla.

Members of the Beta Zeta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Oklahoma State University networked with counterparts and accepted two awards on behalf of the chapter before returning from the sorority’s national convention in Orlando, Florida, earlier this month. The OSU chapter received the Silver Kite Award for Overall Chapter Excellence and the runner-up position for the Excellence in Recruitment Award. 

The conference, which is held every two years to act on official business and give chapters an opportunity to network, was attended by active members and officers including Ashleigh Chiaf, senior from Edmond and chief executive officer; Megan Montgomery, junior from Edmond and chief financial officer; Madison Cotherman, junior from Gore and chief marketing officer; Madison Stafford, junior from Tulsa and chief panhellenic officer; Emily Martin, junior from Omaha, Neb., and chief education officer; Lyndsay Parks, junior from Edmond and chief recruiting officer; Stephanie Giardina, senior from Crystal Lake, Ill., and reference chairman; Leslie Lodes, junior from Ardmore and ritualist; Kerrstin Wenk, junior from Altus and new member director; Kelsey Duepner, junior from San Antonio, Texas, and scholarship chairman; Kayley Smith, sophomore member from Tulsa; and Jordan Burns, sophomore member from Wichita, Kan. 

Alumna who attended the conference are Laci Scales, former chief executive officer from Carnegie, Okla.; Krissi Morton, advisory board chairman from Stillwater; Mickie Bingham, administrative adviser from Tulsa; Heather Duncan, facility adviser from Tulsa; Mary Lippert, education adviser from Nichols Hills; Aleisha Marty, finance adviser from Broken Arrow; Katie Liston, development adviser from Ponca City; and Linda Rosenthal, ritualist adviser from Stillwater.
