COLUMBIA, Mo. – Life’s many choices and obligations can take their toll on body, mind and spirit. “Taking Care of You,” a class offered by University of Missouri Extension, can help you deal with stress, make wise choices and explore ways to live a healthier life.

MU Extension nutrition and health education specialist Vera Massey said the program offers practical strategies and experiences. “Managing life’s challenges in healthy ways allows you to better care of yourself and your overall health. Each week you will explore topics through small-group discussion, self-reflection and activities,” Massey said.

The eight-week program will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning March 4 at Unity Center of Columbia, 1600 W. Broadway.

You may register online by Feb. 25 or find more information at extension.missouri.edu/boone, or contact Massey at 537-445-9792 or [email protected]. A $35 fee is payable by check to Boone County Extension Council.
