The South Central Cattlemen’s Association will hold its Spring Field Day on Saturday, April 27th beginning at 12:00 P.M. at Spreutels Farms of Koshkonong, MO.  A hamburger lunch will be provided compliments of FCS Financial.
Following lunch, Wilbur and Elsie Spreutels will tell about their registered and commercial Red Angus operation.  There will also be a tour of the pasture and hay program currently in production on the farm.  This will be a great opportunity to learn about cattle production in the Ozarks.
Directions to Spreutels Farms:
From West Plains: South on Hwy 63 to Koshkonong.  Turn right/west on Hwy F (across from gas station).  Proceed across railroad tracks and turn left/south on County Road W377 (first county road).   Turn right into the first driveway.  Signs will be posted along route to Field Day.
South Central Cattlemen’s Association was organized in 2009 serving cattle producers in Howell, Oregon, Ozark, and Shannon counties.  The purpose of the Association is to advance economic, educational, political and social interests of the Missouri Cattle Industry.
All cattle producers, business associates, and members are encouraged to attend.   For additional information contact Ron Gould, president, by email at [email protected] or 417-255-5001.
