The Oklahoma State University Department of Wellness is recognizing 41 new Certified Healthy Departments across campus.
“All these departments are implementing healthy activities that are impacting work units and contributing to OSU’s mission of being America’s healthiest campus,” said Mary Talley, Employee Wellness Program manager within the Department of Wellness.
First Cowgirl Ann Hargis and the Department of Wellness are pleased to see a significant increase over last year’s 27 certified departments. Each department has been presented with a certificate by Hargis and has received the Certified Healthy Department logo to use on all departments’ communications.
“It is my honor to recognize the 2013 OSU Certified Healthy Departments,” Hargis said. “A special thank you to each of these departments for promoting a culture of wellness for faculty, staff and students. We commend these departments for their efforts and leadership as we strive to be America’s healthiest campus.”
