How are you involved in agriculture?
“I grew up on a family dairy farm, McLean Dairy. We milk somewhere between 80 to 90 Holstein and Swiss cows. It is a family farm. My mom, along with my aunt, two uncles, grandma and brother mainly run the farm. I’m just a calf feeder. I also love showing Holstein cattle. I’ve been showing since I was 8 or 9 years old.”
What is your involvement in FFA?
“My supervised agriculture experience is dairy production. I received second place at area 12 for dairy production. I have been on the chapter officer team for the last three years. This year I am serving as the chapter treasurer. I am also participating on the dairy foods contest team this year.”
Who is the most influential person in your life?
“My mom is the most influential person in my life. We are a lot alike and we both like to work hard even if it is stressful.”
Future Plans: “I will be getting my State FFA Degree this April. After high school I am going to attend cosmetology school.”
