JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Cole County 4-H Foundation and University of Missouri Extension are offering a three-day workshop on how to prepare cattle for shows, April 5-7 at the Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds.

The McCullough Fitting Clinic offers instructions from professionals on how to feed and care for show calves, how to choose clippers and blades to clip calves, how to groom calves, and showmanship. Participants will need to bring their own supplies and cattle.

The cost is $75 per participant. Registration is due by March 27. The fee includes meals for the registered participant and one adult. Additional meals can be purchased on-site.
