How did you get started in agriculture?
“Even though I’ve lived on a farm, I’m really just getting started in agriculture. I really like the animals the best whether it’s rabbits, horses or cows because they are not boring like TV. You can kill time faster than you know caring for them and just being around them. I just attended my first 4-H Camp where I learned how to better care for the environment and how to properly ride an ATV. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead for me in agriculture.”
Who’s the most influential person in your life?
“My mom is the most influential. She has done so much for the family and brought me to God and Christ. I know I will never lose my family because of heaven, and I make much better choices than I would have without that influence.”
What is your favorite possession?
“I really have two. One is the family ATV because it’s fun and the other is the Bible because it’s good.”
What are your future plans?
“I want to be an architect or civil engineer, but that’s today and who knows about tomorrow. I also might go to Alaska to a Christian college to become a youth minister.”
What do you like best about living in the country?
“I really like living in the country because you can do what you want without crowding anybody else. Privacy and space are a big deal.”
