Whether your holiday gift list includes a person who has everything, an adventurous traveler or loved ones who love unique treats, Missouri’s agribusinesses offer a spread – from locally produced meats, wines and cheeses to jewelry and home decor – that is sure to please. The AgriMissouri Holiday Gift Guide brings together some of the more than 1700 member business’ most popular holiday-themed offerings. The 2012 guide is AgriMissouri’s largest to date, featuring dozens of local businesses and their Missouri-made products.

“Whether it is visiting a farmers’ market, taking the family to pick out the perfect tree or wreath or purchasing a favorite wine, jam or jelly, we hope to see all Missourians supporting our great local products and outstanding producers throughout the holiday season,” said Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler. “We continue to look for ways for Missourians to become more connected to their communities and to agriculture within their daily lives.”

While visiting AgriMissouri online, Missourians can also find Christmas Tree Farms and other agritourism destinations to brighten their holiday season. Whether they’re looking for a fun-filled afternoon selecting a tree, wreath or boughs to decorate their homes throughout the holiday season or “out-of-the-box” gifts like a ticket to “Gardenland Express” or an overnight stay at a bed and breakfast like Dry Creek Cabin or Epple Haus, AgriMissouri can help.

AgriMissouri.com features everything from Missouri wines, chocolates and candies to honey, soaps and lotions, jams and jellies as well as a wide variety of beef and pork products.
