The Missouri Department of Agriculture’s Meat and Poultry Inspection Program announced today that state inspection has resumed at B+C Processing in Osage County. The business owner requested a re-inspection Friday, at which time the violations identified earlier this year had been addressed.

As a result, the processing permissions for the facility were reinstated.

Facilities operating under a custom processing exemption, such as B+C Processing, are not allowed to sell meat to the public. Custom exempt processing is completed for hunters and livestock owners for their own consumption. All custom exempt packaging is specially marked.
