Full Throttle Powersports
Owner: Kaleb Smith
History: Kaleb was raised on a farm in Decatur, Ark. He said, “I grew up on cattle, showing registered Limousines, and team roping. Immediately after graduating from high school, Kaleb attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, Ariz., and was trained to repair all types of motorcycles and ATVs. Upon graduation, Kaleb went to work at a local dealership in Arkansas. Shortly thereafter, he started his own business, Full Throttle Powersports in Gentry, Ark.
Services offered: “We offer repair and maintenance on all ATVs and small equipment that farmers and ranchers have around the place. My customers can either bring it to the shop or I’ll pick it up and deliver it when I’m finished. I know they need this equipment to check on their chickens or cattle.”
Business philosophy: Kaleb says being a farmer himself and understanding how important their time is, is why he always tries to get equipment in and out as soon as possible, with no excuses. He said, “They rely on this equipment to get their work done. I work along with the farmers around here and try to take care of them. I try to help farmers as much as I can. If they can’t come to me, I go and pick the unit up. Service is what sells.”
