How did you get your start raising cattle?
“We have both been around cattle all of our lives. Our grandparents raised purebred Charolais for 15 years and we have raised Red Angus for five to six years. To us, being around cattle is second nature," Rashel said.

What's great about being involved in agriculture?
“You never know what to expect day in and day out with cattle," Renee said.
“I love bonding with the little calves," added Rashel.
“(Agriculture) gives us a great opportunity to meet new people, go different places and have new experiences. We also like the fact that it gives us a place to be responsible and care about animals," Rashel said.

What leadership roles have you had in FFA?
“We both served as President our senior year in High School and as officers in the Junior Red Angus Association. I was Area Second Vice President, also," said Rashel.

Why is being involved in Agriculture important to you?
Rashel explained, “We both firmly believe that without Agriculture there is no future. Everyone’s lives depends on people being passionate about Agriculture.
“We believe that everyone should have a part in the agriculture around them. Take a chance and get involved.”
