What is your involvement in agriculture? Being born and raised in a crossbred cattle operation, I have always been active on the farm. This could be by feeding, working and maintaining my family’s operation. From a young age I have always taken interest in my own swine operation by completing daily tasks to take care of them. My sister and I also own our own catering business to provide food service at local events.

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture? My favorite part about being involved in agriculture is working with my family for the benefit of others. I get to learn hands on skills while advocating for what I believe in.

What are your future plans? I plan to attend Kansas State University to major in Agriculture Economics on a Pre-Law track with minors in International Agriculture and Political Science. Then I plan to continue my educational path in a Pre-Law program. My end goal is to work as an agriculture lawyer to protect our industry.

Awards: State FFA degree, second place state Cattlemen’s speech, HYPE, MABH, HYMAX
