• 2 C graham cracker crumbs

• 1 stick butter or margarine, softened

• 2 Tbsp sugar

Mix together well and pat down with hands in a 9×13 pan (or two 8×8). Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes, cool.

With a mixer, combine: 

• 8 ounce package of softened cream cheese 

• 2 C powdered sugar

• large container of cool whip 

• 1/2 C fine chopped nuts (optional)

Spread mixture over the cooled crumbs and set in the refrigerator until chilled. Spread one can of cherry pie mix over the top of the cheese mixture and chill overnight. 

• 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened

• 3/4 C powdered sugar

• 1 stick of butter, softened

• 1 tsp vanilla

Beat ingredients until smooth. Spread over the chilled mixture and sprinkle with 1/2 C chopped nuts if desired. Keep refrigerated.
