What is your involvement in agriculture?

“My involvement began when I was in middle school. My in interests were in taking care of animals on our farm when they were hurt or ill. I began volunteering at the animal shelter in St. James at a young age. In high school, I assisted my brother with his farm, competed in livestock shows and competitions with FFA. Once a week, I would take eggs from our farm and place them in the food pantry.”

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture/living on a farm?

“My favorite part is caring for the livestock and farm animals.”

What are your future plans? Do they involve agriculture in some way?

“I currently attend College of the Ozarks, where I am planning to graduate with my bachelor’s in animal science and continue with my passion for animals and farming.”
