Mark Pruitt, professor of engineering technology at Oklahoma State University, is one of fifteen faculty members from across the nation to receive the Design-Build Institute of America’s Educators Workshop scholarship.
The scholarship funded Pruitt’s trip to the workshop earlier this month in Fort Collins, Colo., where the latest in best practices and implementation techniques were outlined to increase the success of projects for students in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT). “I plan to incorporate the best practices of the design-build-delivery method from the workshop into my construction management technology curriculum to benefit students,” said Pruitt.
In addition to serving as an engineering technology professor, Pruitt is the faculty adviser for the student chapter of Design-Build Institute of America and the coach of the OSU design-build competition team.
