OSU in Tulsa students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join Pistol Pete and BOB, the Big Orange Bus, at 11 a.m. Monday for the “2014 Living the Dream: Let Freedom Ring” parade honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tulsa’s annual MLK Commemorative Parade will begin at the main entrance of OSU-Tulsa at Detroit Avenue and John Hope Franklin Boulevard. The parade will proceed east through the OSU-Tulsa campus and Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District.
During the parade, access to campus will be restricted and visitors should expect significant delays. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to enter campus from the north on Greenwood Avenue as all other campus entrances will be closed. Parking will be available in Lot A or B.

Discussion panel at OSU in Stillwater
The OSU Institutional Division of Diversity, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and NAACP will host a panel discussion on “MLK’s Dream: Has it been realized?” on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 3:30 p.m. in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room on the 2nd floor of the Edmon Low Library.
