The 2013 AgriMissouri Conference is coming back to mid-Missouri for the first time in four years and registration is now open. The conference, held July 21-23, will focus on providing small business owners the tools they need to take advantage of opportunities and overcome challenges as they grow. The event is themed ‘Grow your network. Grow your business.’
Conference registration forms are now available online at mda.mo.gov. The conference registration includes all sessions, meals, speakers and transportation for Tuesday’s tours. The registration fee is $75 and the deadline to register is July 15, 2013.
The AgriMissouri Conference will feature in-depth panel discussions, speakers and workshops for individuals and businesses with products ranging from fresh produce and value-added foods to home décor and agritourism. Sessions will include speakers with experience organizing a business, hiring and training employees, developing marketing strategies and using social media, managing liability and risk and meeting Missouri’s regulatory requirements. The three-day event will also include opportunities for attendees to visit several Mid-Missouri agritourism operations for behind-the-scenes tours and question and answer sessions.
The 2013 AgriMissouri Conference will be held at the DoubleTree hotel in Jefferson City. The Conference is open to the public; however registration is required for most events. This event is made possible through the partnership and support of the more than 1700 AgriMissouri members and Missouri Farm Bureau.
Additional information on the AgriMissouri Conference agenda and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
