Robb’s Prefabricated Buildings

History: In 1983, Ron Robb and family built a portable building that was sold to a retailer who ended up buying 10 more buildings. And so Robb’s Prefabricated Buildings (Robb’s Portable) began. After selling wholesale to dealers for seven years Robb’s started selling directly to the public offering service at a cheaper price.
“Ron had worked for Robert E. Lee Lumber Co., for 10 years building roof trusses and built a good name in workmanship. When people found out Ron was back to building they wanted to work with him again so he added roof trusses to his sales,” stated Pam. Ron and Pam started the business and now are in the second generation. Ryan Robb (son) has now taken the lead with Ranae (daughter) helping in the office.
Products: Robb’s builds portable buildings, pole barns and trusses. They also have metal sales. They use all number one grade materials for quality products.
“You name it, if it is built out of wood or metal we try to build it,” explained Ron.
Services: Robb’s serves all of the Springfield, Mo., and surrounding area but will also deliver farther if needed. Ron and Pam will come to check your building site and to match the color of your building to your home if needed. Robb’s offers 90-day same as cash and rent-to-own.
“In this business it is important to have good customer relationships so they will feel confident enough to refer us to others,” said Pam.
