In Town: I’m the owner of Lush Skin & Beauty Center. I have been a master esthetician for ten plus years and a permanent makeup artist for four years. I specialize in waxing and permanent makeup and lashes. I love being there to help women understand their skin needs while also helping them feel as beautiful and confident on the outside as they are on the inside.
In the Country: I own and raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. We also have 2 cats and 2 dogs and we will soon be adding Rex cross and New Zealand rabbits to the homestead. We have 20 acres we are going to completely perimeter fence so we can expand on the goats and add a few head of cattle. I love being able to show my children that they can also be self-sufficient. We look forward to putting out a garden every year and we will be growing some loofas to sell in my shop as they are a national exfoliant. I also plan to add soaps and sugar scrubs made from our goats milk. I look forward to the growth of my homestead and the memories I will create with my kids.
The main thing I enjoy about farming is being so involved with God’s creations and amazing beauty. Being able to show my children a lifestyle they will forever be able to use as it was done for me.
