What is your involvement in agriculture?

I am a 4th generation farmer in the Bybee family. We have cattle year-round and we combine and hay our land. My father was an FFA teacher, so agriculture has been my whole life. This is my third year as an officer for my FFA chapter.

What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture/living on a farm?

One of the best parts about being involved in agriculture is the connection to the land. This lifestyle fosters a deep appreciation for the environment as you witness the cycle of growth and change firsthand. Additionally, there is a strong sense of community among farmers. This leads to lasting relationships and support networks. The satisfaction of producing your own food and contributing to local economies can be very rewarding. The opportunity for hands on work and learning new skill is a significant advantage.

What are your future plans? Do they involve agriculture in some way?

After my senior year, I will attend MSU and get my teaching degree in agriculture. I want to minor in agronomy and teach greenhouse.

Awards: I earned 3rd in Dairy and 4th in Agronomy.
