What is your involvement in agriculture?
“I am a fifth-generation farmer on my family’s Century Farm. We raise commercial Angus cattle, hogs, hay and some row crops. I am very active in both 4-H and FFA, and I have taken leadership roles in both. I also get the privilege to work for the local veterinarian.”
What is your favorite part of being involved in agriculture/living on a farm?
“I really like the tight-knight community that agriculture provides. My connections have given me many opportunities to participate in large trips and in close-to-home learning experiences.”
What are your future plans?
“I plan to attend Mizzou to earn a bachelor’s in animal science. After that, I will apply to vet school.”
Awards: 4-H Key Award and earned FFA State Degree as a junior.
