COLUMBIA, Mo. – What is the right way to bargain in an antique shop? How can eBay help you decide how much your antique sugar bowl is worth?
Questions like these will be answered a four-week session on “Let’s Talk Antiques” by Nancy Russell, who owned antique shops in Boone County for 40 years and writes a column on antiques for the Columbia Daily Tribune.
The class, offered by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Missouri, meets 10-11:30 a.m. on Jan. 22, Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12 at 1407 Hillcrest Drive in the Waters-Moss Memorial Wildlife Area.
Each session allows show-and-tell time for students to share their antiques with the class.
