Current involvement in Ag: Kaylyn likes showing Simmental Heifers and Shorthorn Steers. She participates in Circle G 4-H and Young Stockman. Kaylyn enjoys participating in livestock judging as well as grading cattle. Kaylyn has been showing cattle since the young age of 3.
Awards: Kaylyn has received many awards for her hard work, which include top individual cattle grading, first place team cattle grading and second place in livestock judging.
Advice to Younger Students: “It’s not about the winning, it is gaining experience, making friends as well as working on getting more competitive. This is your responsibility and not anyone else’s. It is your project not mom and dad’s project, it is yours to work with,” encouraged Kaylyn.
