LIVE ORANGE FRIDAY CONTEST
Oklahoma State University is America’s Brightest Orange. Members of the Cowboy Family across the state, nation, and the world wear ORANGE every Friday to express their loyal and true devotion to our beloved university. This fall, we are celebrating the #OrangeFriday tradition by inviting groups of all ages to participate in the “Live Orange Friday” contest. We want to see how your school, business, community, team, family or group celebrates #OrangeFriday each week.
ENTRY IDEAS:
Who to include:
Colleagues, communities, family, friends, unique interest groups, clubs, teams, classes, schools, etc. The more the merrier!
What to wear:
Anything and everything ORANGE. All individuals in photo must wear at least one article of orange clothing.
Where to take the photo:
Find somewhere unique – At the state capital, at your business/company, at a B-B-Q, on any OSU campus, at the beach, on top of a mountain, New York City’s Stillwater Bar & Grill, the Hollywood sign, St. Louis Arch, Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Rushmore and other attractions or countries.
HOW TO ENTER:
Entries will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CDT each Friday, September 27 to November 29. Photo entries, which include 5 or more people, should be submitted by posting them to the official Oklahoma State University Facebook wall by clicking the “Photo/Video” tab on the status bar and uploading the photo. Entrants may add a caption to their photo. A weekly “Orange Spirit” Prize Pack winner will be chosen at random from that Friday’s valid contest entries. Entries that violate eligibility and guidelines will be removed. Winner will be announced each Saturday at 12 p.m. CDT, ending on November 30. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on Monday, December 2 at 12 p.m. Chances for winning the Grand Prize increase with the number of comments, shares and ‘likes’ on individual entries.

By entering the Oklahoma State University “Live Orange Friday” Contest you agree to be bound by these Official Rules:
Eligibility

Contest entries may contain individuals of all ages but the contest entry must be submitted by individuals over the age of 18.

Submitted photos must be the sole property of individuals entering the contest.

In accordance with NCAA rules and bylaws, high school students, prospective student athletes and the athletes’ parents or guardians are ineligible for the Grand Prize. Grand Prize winner must agree to sign an NCAA waiver upon receipt of prize package.
Contest Dates
The competition begins September 27, 2013 at 7 a.m. CDT and ends November 29, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Entries must be received each Friday no later than 11:59 p.m. CDT, to be eligible for prizes. Each week, entries received after 11:59 p.m. CDT on Friday will not be eligible for the weekly prize awards, regardless of whether the late receipt resulted from human, computer, or transmission error.
Entry Guidelines

Theme – Contest entries must include 3 or more people showing how their group celebrates Orange Friday. Note: Animals may appear in photos but do not count toward individual count

All individuals in the group must wear at least one article of orange clothing

No alcoholic beverages, explicit content or illegal activity in any of the 50 states may be present in the photo. Photos must meet OSU’s Facebook Terms of Service.

Number – An individual who meets the eligibility requirements may enter one photograph per week. Multiple entries of the same photo will be counted as a single entry.

Entry Process – All entries must be submitted online via the official Oklahoma State University Facebook page in accordance with the Entry Form requirements. Entrants must be logged in to Facebook to submit their entries and should post eligible entries directly to the Oklahoma State University Facebook wall.
Judging & Awards
Weekly prize packages are available and will be awarded at random through a random selection generator. The Grand Prize winner will be selected based on the highest total numbers of ‘likes’, shares and comments for the individual’s post. Contest entrants are only eligible to win one weekly prize package per person. All entries are eligible for the grand prize.

Notification of Winners
Winners will be announced on OSU’s Official Facebook page each Saturday at 12 p.m. CDT. If a winner does not respond to notification of the win within 7 days, the winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be chosen, based on the established judging criteria.
Conditions of Participation
Use of Submissions – By entering this competition, you agree that Oklahoma State University retains the right to unlimited use of the submitted photographs for university publicity and promotion, without compensation. As a condition of participation, you waive any claim of infringement against Oklahoma State University based upon use of the submitted photograph and stories, and agree to hold harmless Oklahoma State University from any claims or expenses arising as a result of any allegation that you did not own or were not authorized to allow publication and reproduction of the photograph.
