COLUMBIA, Mo.–Missouri 4-H Foundation announces that Rachel Augustine joins the organization as associate director of development. Augustine will be responsible for managing the foundation’s annual giving programs, coordinating fundraising and special events, and developing a strong Web presence that further engages the foundation’s community of support.
“I am honored to join an organization with such a rich history of youth engagement and community service,” said Augustine. “I look forward to serving the needs of Missouri 4-H state programs as well as the volunteers, friends and organizations that support their work.”
Augustine has more than eight years of experience working in nonprofit and higher education systems providing comprehensive support for fundraising and marketing campaigns. Prior to joining the Missouri 4-H Foundation, she spent two years working for the University of Rochester Medical Center’s office of advancement in Rochester, N.Y.
“Rachel brings a wealth of fund development and design experience to the Missouri 4-H Foundation that will enhance our efforts to ensure a strong future for Missouri 4-H,” said executive director Cheryl Reams. “She is a great resource and a wonderful addition to the Missouri 4-H family.”
