OSU/A&M Regents approve personnel actions

Several Oklahoma State University personnel actions were approved during the OSU/A&M Board of Regents meeting Friday in Tulsa.

APPOINTMENTS:  Angela Post, assistant professor, plant and soil sciences; Samantha Shoaf, assistant professor, plant and soil sciences; Rebecca Brienen, professor, head and Vennerberg Professor (action grants tenure), art, graphic design and art history; Ed Richmond, assistant professor, mathematics; Walter Rusin, assistant professor, mathematics; Andrew Kimbrough, professor and head (action grants tenure), theatre; Monika Turek, clinical instructor, accounting; Zachary Arens, assistant professor, marketing; Sunderesh Heragu, professor, head and Humphreys Chair (action grants tenure), industrial engineering; Brian Elbing, assistant professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering; Sarah Ra, clinical assistant professor, design, housing and merchandising; Jing Yang, assistant professor, hotel and restaurant administration; Jennifer Grudo, professor and head (action grants tenure), human development and family science; Joshua Ward, director, scholar development and recognition; and John Fuller, director, affirmative action. 

For the Center of Veterinary Health Sciences, Ryan Baumwart, assistant professor, veterinary clinical sciences; Danielle Dugat, assistant professor, veterinary clinical sciences; and Candace Jacobson, assistant professor, veterinary clinical sciences. 

RETIREMENT: Donald Turton, effective August 30, 2013, natural resource ecology and management; W. Gary Simpson, effective August 1, 2013, finance; Diane Montgomery, effective July 1, 2013, applied health and education psychology; David Yellin, effective June 3, 2013, teaching and curriculum leadership; David Thompson, effective July 8, 2013, engineering, architecture and technology; David Lilley, effective August 1, 2013, mechanical and aerospace engineering; and Robert Graalman, effective August 1, 2013, scholar development and recognition.
