Now in its second year, the AgriMissouri Gift Guide has grown to include an even greater variety of gifts, treats and experiences from across Missouri. Whether your list includes a person who has everything, a self-proclaimed ‘foodie’ or an adventurous traveler, Missouri’s agribusinesses offer a spread – from locally produced meats, wines and cheeses to jewelry and home decor – that is sure to please. The AgriMissouri Valentine’s Gift Guide brings together some of the more than 1700 member business’ most popular offerings, just in time to treat your loved ones.
“Whether it is enjoying Missouri-made chocolates, locally-grown flowers or a visit to a winery or farmers’ market, we hope to see all Missourians supporting our great local products and outstanding producers now and throughout the year,” said Director of Agriculture Dr. Jon Hagler. “We continue to look for ways for Missourians to become more connected to their communities and to agriculture during their daily lives as well as for special occasions.”
The 2013 AgriMissouri Valentine’s Gift Guide features gifts from furniture, such as a pie safe from Norman’s Furniture of Ozark, to jewelry, like the Chevron Necklace by Scarlett Garnet of St. Louis, as well as restaurants, flower shops, and confectioners. Columbia’s Patric Chocolate and Kansas City’s Christopher Elbow Chocolates are among those highlighted. Gift givers can also give back with selections from retailers like Jefferson City’s Three Story Coffee.
AgriMissouri.com features everything from Missouri wines, chocolates and candies to soaps and lotions, as well as a wide variety of home décor and food products. In addition, visitors can find agritourism experiences including public gardens, local food restaurants and bed & breakfasts. Visitors can also check out business’ individual profiles and social media pages through the AgriMissouri website.
