It’s been a pretty good summer, all things considered. I know some of you are wishing you would have got the rainstorms others of us have, and I hope it rains on all of us again, soon.
On another topic, as school starts back, I’ll encourage you again to become involved with your local FFA or 4-H booster and alumni clubs, if you aren’t already. As farmers and agriculturists, we work so hard to advance our industry, but let’s not forget the future of our industry. Taking time to be involved with your local 4-H or FFA chapter can be a very rewarding experience. I hope you’ll consider our industry’s future, and continue supporting or begin supporting your local 4-H and FFA.
