Owners: Chris Oakley, President and Owner; his wife, Penny Oakley, Owner; Brandon Oakley, Sales Manager (no relation)
Location: I-40, Exit 101, 7 miles West of Morrilton, Ark.
Company History: “We started The Trailer Store in 1990. Penny and I started the business with a limited stock of utility trailers and stock trailers. Now, we have nine employees and many different brands and types of trailers. We are blessed,” Chris said.
What is your mission?
“Our mission is to sell the finest quality trailers available in the market today at the most competitive prices possible. You can buy a cheap trailer anywhere, but you can’t buy a high quality trailer everywhere. Because of the quality brands we carry, we feel that we are offering our customers the best brands available,” explained Chris. “We want to be known for selling high quality merchandise and providing high quality service in a high quality Christian environment. We stress this to our employees all the time,” stated Penny.
What type and brands of products do you provide?
“We carry Bloomer, Sundowner, Shadow, Hart, Gooseneck, Big Tex, Trail Master, PJ, CM, and Interstate brands. We sell horse trailers, stock trailers, enclosed cargo trailers, and utility trailers. We also have truck beds and a full line parts and service department. If you have a towing need, we will try to meet it,” explained Brandon.
What is important for potential customers to know?
“Our sales staff is friendly and they know their trailers. They will do their best to help you determine your needs, then, they will help you find the perfect trailer to meet your needs. If we don’t have what our customers need in our extensive inventory, we will order whatever is needed from the many options available. That is how we stay ahead of our competition and continue to grow,” stated Brandon.
